About Magnolia Beach, Texas
Magnolia Beach is an unincorporated beach community, located along Lavaca Bay, in Calhoun, County, Texas. Situated between Port Lavaca to the North, and Port O'Connor to the South, Magnolia Beach is a great area for fishing, camping, beachcombing, birdwatching and many other outdoor activities. Mangolia Beach has miles and miles of beaches for you to discover and fish from. Public boat ramps are available, as well as public restrooms and picnic tables. Magnolia Beach has one convenience store, and further down the beach, towards Indianola, you'll find Indianola Fishing Marina, a popular starting point for many local fishermen. Magnolia Beach is the only natural shell beach along the Texas Gulf Coast. It's a public beach so it's open to everyone. In addition to mutiple beach homes, you'll also find several popular RV parks in Magnolia Beach. Directions: Magnolia Beach is located on Texas FM 316 in Southern Calhoun County. From Port Lavaca, head south on 316 and then turn left onto Margie Tewmey Rd. You will soon be in the middle of town and the beach will be straight ahead. |
